About My Psychology Practice

"Helping People Change"

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with my Master of Arts
Degree in Psychological Counseling, I have been practicing Psychology in
a variety of settings.  My first position was as a Psychologist at Reading
Rehabilitation Hospital.  This is where I began my interests in Mind-Body
Integration.  During those years I worked with individuals who had severe
head injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, stroke, multiple sclerosis
and chronic pain.  I later worked at hospitals in Lancaster County where I
served as the Director of Psychology and helped develop a
multidisciplinary chronic pain program and headache clinic.  I have been
in private practice working closely with William Santoro, MD and Phillip J.
Baney, IV, MD of
Laureldale Family Medicine.  In addition to counseling
services for adolescents and adults, I provide couples counseling and
marital therapy.  I also perform evaluations for the Office of Vocational
Rehabilitation.  In addition I perform pre-surgical evaluations for the
Spinal Stimulator and Bariatric surgery.  I have memberships in the
American Psychological Association and the Pennsylvania Psychological
Association.  Recently it was my privilege to serve as President of the
Berks Area Psychological Society.
